ZdayZ 2009
we went out for ride at 8pm and pulled over cause we saw a silverstone z on a ditch... they were both ok. it wasnt at the tail yet.. and kind of just ran off the road, not much damage...
Silverstone was a ZROC guy from Cincy - just body damage, drove it home today. Did not hear about any others last night but it's never surprising. ShyGuy made it to about 2 hours after arrival on Tuesday before he bent it up chasing Bryan and Justin. Flatbedded it back to Maine behind his dads truck. Bet dad was thrilled. Sorry Matt - I feel bad for ya.
Huge crowd, awesome cars, awesome parties. May 20-23 next year - get your reservations in!

From what I read it all sounds positive
I'm home, truck and Z unloaded. Going to bed for two days.
It will take us a few weeks to sort through the billions of pictures and get them posted on zdayz.com. Also as soon as we sort out the financials and stuff we'll post what we donated to Hope for Families.
What I know as of the moment:
446 registered attendees, with a ahem few unregistered folks, but a huge record high for attendance.
We had 123 players for the poker run, which is huge
The TSD didnt have the attendance I was looking for, but we'll try it again next year, like on Thursday or so.
I have heard that we lost as many as 8 cars and potential damage on a few others. I'll be getting with the local authorities for confirmation of those statistics. There were 2 deaths and we have a member of the commuity in the hospital right now.
If you would like to send me feedback about the event feel free feedback@zdayz.com. We want to continue to improve the event and make it the best Nissan event in the country.

It was funny hearing Jason freaking out from some spirited driving while reading the directions

If I spoiled it and told you the actual route times, then I would have to do more work for next year. I plan on shoving that event in a can and reusing it several times. We put too much work into to only do it once.
I have all of that stuff packed up in boxes, of what I can remember the route times were 2:35:xx, 2:49:xx, and 2:3x:xx. There was a bit of logistical screw up, we have four routes, but one of the routes was authored on a laptop of someone that had to leave early due to a death in the family, so we only ran three routes.

I'd like to take a ride in your Z next year if possible, I'm sure it's intense

lol I understand, it was certainly a blast and I hope it's on for next year. I think our route was messed up but oh well. We still had fun. Our 30 minute break was used by going 5000ft+ on the skyway accidentally

I generally show up the Saturday prior to the event, but I also go up there 6 or 7 times a year with different groups and hang out. I'm such a s!ut like that, I'll hang out with anyone.
We will be looking at the potential schedule of events over the next month, but I can't tell if concurrent events was a success or a fail.

We did the poker rally and the tsd rally and enjoyed them both. Me and the wife were the overall winners of the tsd rally. I was actually hoping the directions for the tsd rally would be a little harder. From reading on the website it looked like it was going to be really difficult but once you got the directions the roads were pretty clear and everything so maybe make it a little harder next year. Obviously getting the right time is just about getting lucky but everyone enjoys getting lost once in a while haha. Oh and blasian I wouldn't be too sure about having the worst time in the blue route, my friend was in that that route and left at the same time as us and got back and our later cause they got lost.
