ZdayZ 2010
wheeeeew Road Atlanta is some frigin distance from Michigan
I gotta say I love me some Mid-Ohio just got back from a two dayer over the weekend. They gave us some sick amt of time out there. 5+ hours on Friday with a couple 1hr:15-30min sessions. Nice to practice some extended runs! Never did an hour plus before then!

RA is booked for this year, but if I can get enough bodies commited by ZdayZ time frame, I can present it to Asphalt Ventures to put a proposal together.
for next year.
Would be cool to have RA all to ourselves
would need prolly 150-200 people commited to keep the costs per head reasonable. After all RA is expensive. But 150 heads, 4 run groups, ~36 or so per run group. Could be done for maybe $500/head for two day event. Again I'm just talking out of my butt, don't hold me to those numbers
I'm just a redneck that likes to go fast, I know people (Ahem Stack) that organize these things.
for next year.

Yeah, but it's SOOO far away from the dragon
Don't forget about the events we DO have coming up this year... 2010 ZCon track day, August 1st @ Nashville Speedway... NCCAR September 18th/19th (pre-registration going on now!) and VIR November 29th.

)Mid Ohio is too far north for the Florida and Bama Crew
Sebring is too far south for the Ohio and Virginia Crew
Roebling is awful east for the Western folks
yada yada, looking for alternatives
I was trying to keep it somewhat centralized to the general population of Zdayz attendees. That pretty much leaves Barber, VIR, Road Atlanta, maybe Bluegrass. If A.M.P. ever gets up and going it may be a decent alternative, it looks great (the 1/1000th scale models at least
)

Right, just didnt' know why it needed to be close to the dragon. Love the idea and i think the more you can keep the price down the more particiapation you will get with the way the economy is. Barber would prob. work as well.
Just noticed they used my cars pic on the main site. Sweet. BTW if u do go and u have a camera wake up early one day and go drive and take lots of pics. U can get pics of the fog literally flowing down the mountains. Night shot can be cool too. especially by the damn.

If there was enough interest I could probably hook that up. If there isn't a 150-200 person group of guys available to rent it out solely to the Z crowd, the PBOC, ALSCCA & Chin Motorsports have track days occasionally and I think it's pretty reasonably priced as well. Lemme know if anyone's interested and I can talk to some people I know and see what all it would require.
