Ok, well did you have a cell phone I could use up there? Cuz if so that would have been handy.. He didn't answer on Sunday afternoon when we rolled out ..someone said they saw a blue 350 go off the dragon, or off the mountain more specifically, so I'm just trying to gather some information...

There was one blue car that went off of 28. It was not a nismo.

shoulda asked around man, i had cell service in several places. 3-5 bars too.

i did hears rumors of 2 cars crashing on Friday, but was never able to confirm

 

Yea we still can't get a hold of him, we were 5 strong comin out of Richmond and we met this kid in a blue 350z nismo outside of statesville. he was only 16 and had been given it for his birthday.. .. we saw him in hickory when we picked up 4 more.. he was right behind us comin into the lodge so we know he made it in... if it was on 28 then that definetly wasn't him... thanks for the help though.. he's probably in his Mom's basement....

 

I apologize for the buzzkill, I just hope this kid made it home safe.. Wicked 2010 though, props to Trav and whoever else on 350z forums that won a plaque. Got some good pics and vids goin on in that other thread... I think Z1Nonly on youtube had the best run, on Friday morning after the rain... The vid isn't posted yet though.. probably sometime this week... rain and leaves FTW!!

 

Yeah, Verizon had service around the Lodge, and I'm sure in the event of an emergency, the folks up at the Lodge would have allowed you to use their land line. Also, AT&T gets service at the parking lot at the top of the dam.

 

I saw that Verizon had been good reception, but the Nismo 350z had T-Mobile... not much good up there.. Awesome weekend though, I'm sure we'll hear from him I just wanted to make sure that the first blue 350 wasn't him. Awesome job to everyone who participated in the panorama...

 

i believe you are talking about MCBrown36. if so i can't say that i saw him again after we rolled in to FVR. he had an older car by the looks of it, definitely not a nismo but he did have a nismo sticker across the windshield iirc.

That was insane....I think we melted some paint off the scooter. That scooter has been whored out like a $15 street walker.

And now we know that 12oz's of C16 results in a 10 foot mushroom-cloud-like fireball.

 

huh... oddly enough, we saw a couple of those too.
