OK folks, I'll have final details this weekend concerning a track event in October.

I know THSCC is still wrapping up after this past weekend. Will start on details today.

 

 

The two guys that would normally field my questions could not make the event due to family issues. Ws hoping to negotiate over a cold beer in the pool at the hotel, but oh well. Thanx for reminding me

 

All, I finally got the conformation I wanted from THSCC/TZC for the October track event.

Here is the dealio. The event is at Carolina Motorsports Park and you can register here and when you use your CC there will be a place to enter a discount code, use ZDAYZ2010. In a nutshell there is a flat $25 off of the event. If we get 25 people registered before Spetember 15th that use the discount code and have NEVER been to an THSCC/TZC event, then everyone who used the code will get an additional $15 off. CC will not be charged until after Spetember 15th

If we get at least 25 new people then that turns a $375 track weekend into a $335 track weekend. Pretty good deal. For those that have never done a THSCC/TZC event or any other event for that matter, our events are very top shelf. We only have the best instructors in region, our in classroom instruction is some of the best I've ever attended. Yuo will get 3 25-30 minute sessions each day, plus at least two classroom sessions per day.

You will have to create an account with motorsportreg.com if you do not already have one. Many organizations use motorsportreg.com for event regitration.

I'd love to fill the event with Z/G/GTRs so the ball is in your court. I'll see ya at the track.

Honestly you may want an instructor in the car with ya, anytime I can get someone better than me in the car I grab them and strap them in

 

I know I will want an instructor in the car when I start driving. I was hoping to ride shotgun before I even got that far. *hint* *hint*

 

Mike, I see where you are going. To be honest I'm not the fastest guy nor the best. All of our instructor cadre are excellent. I'll see about taking you out for a couple of laps, but since I am running grid my time is tight.

Track event is just a little to far unless I get a truck to tow with before then.
