Question: Zdayz website has a schedule with the 19th 12-6pm. But after speaking with Fontana Village. They don't want people check into the rooms till around 4pm. Anything going on the those 4hrs? Most of you showing up in the morning or afternoon?

Solution. Buy six pack. Put on swim trunks. Drink 4 rapidly then get in floatable and travel the tiny lazy river setup in one of the pools with last two beers in hands.

Time will fly by lol

^^ Yes. A lazy river and a pool. There is also Disc Golf on the grounds.

Seriously, you will have plenty to do before getting your room. Explore the area in your Z. Make a run to Robbinsville to get supplies. Troll around and check out the other cars. Make use of the car wash area and clean up your ride. Go for a swim. Grab some lunch at either of the restaurants. Hit the general store / ice cream shop. Bum beer off any number of people standing around. Go check in at the ZdayZ registration table.

You can seriously fill up a whole day before you even check into your room. Check at the Fontana desk when you arrive and they may have your room ready early. The first year I came there, I think I checked in around 1:30 and the cabin was ready.

The air strip event will be going on, as well as many of the finest roads in this side of the country are almost always open.

Definitely. I brought a charcoal grill last year and we just set it up in the yard/driveway of our cabin.

Cabins have fire pits, but there is a grill by the picnic area in front of the dining hall.

Agreed. So is there any more rooms in the "main" hotel everyone is staying at? I've never been, going with a few friends...Trying to figure out which hotel to stay at...
