I think last year's ZdayZ there was a swap meet setup for those who had parts to sell or trade. (A Thursday event if I remember correctly)
I have a Stillen Series I front bumper that I need to move. (I'm storing it at the In-Laws just 45 minutes from the Dragon.) Not painted. Will trade for a combination of beer and cash or parts.

Signed up. Lodge room reserved.
We make a two day affair out of the drive down and the drive home. Last year we stopped in Asheville on the way down and checked out Biltmore. This year we were thinking about trying the Ripley's aquarium in Gatlinburg. Has anyone here been to Ripley's? Would it be worth stopping at?

Nice to see another Michigander at ZdayZ!
I know you are in Western Michigan, but the Great Lakes Z Club will go down as a group on Wednesday morning. Last year, we met up in Lexington with folks from Canada, Minnesota, Ohio and Kentucky to finish the drive together as a huge group. We'd love to have ya join if you can. If you want to split off to head to Gatlinburg, that's OK too ... but the mountains are the best part as a group.
We'll take the East route to Fontana this year which goes through Lenoir City and up through the Dragon. Last year we went through Pigeon Forge (because of a TN rock slide) and it was terrible traffic. (Took a long time to get to Fontana.)
Ripley's in G-burg is OK. It's really small compared to some others. I think the one in Pigeon Forge is bigger. It's shaped like a sinking ship. Dollywood is nice. Biltmore is really an awesome place to go. The roads headed there are great too. Not sure what tour you took last time but you can visit there a few times and still see something different. There was a car museum in Pigeon Forge that is worth seeing. Really small and will kill and hour. Last time I was there was forever ago. You both will have a great time. Hope we have a chance to meet up.
Hey guys...depending on the clutch and flywheel issue on the Z once we get it apart I may have to pass due to funding and a close vacation after ZdayZ...If I cancel..Ill have a 1 king size bed..fireplace room that was $119 a night if anyone would want to reserve it.just putting that out there
Ok folks, we have about 170 people registered and we are 30 days out. This is way way low compared to the last couple of years.
I'm ok with the event getting smaller, but we are currently putting tshirt and food orders together. I have to put those orders in within the next 10-14 days. PLease if you or someone you know is coming and they haven't registered yet, get registered. registering onsite doesn't really help us out, we need pre-event registrations to plan for food, shirts, how much we can put into the event. Currently the staff still floats the event out of our wallets until the event happens. It is real hard to dump more money into when it doesn't look like it is going to well attended.
You can help by registering and getting your freinds that are coming to register.
Whatever is registered by May1 is what we are going to forecast everything on. I'm not going to promise any fluffy pre-registration gifts or any early bird discount. But by registering by May 1 I will garantee:
shirt(s) your size
food for you to eat friday and saturday night.
Please spread the word

If you just need to save on some $$$ and it has a couch or separate room, I'd even be willing to consider somehow splitting the cost if that would help you still be able to attend. - Unless you're really creepy.
