I traded a SS shift **** for an older, standard-def GoPro. (while at ZdayZ) I recorded with the wrong mic setting and had badly distorted audio. I was able to get it bearable with some studio software. (EQ and low-pass filter)

[QUOTE=SirSpeedyZ;9162712

That was me
After that run my brakes were DONE; had to sit around for about 30 min, but Mike was nice enough to keep us company.

Best part of zdayz: My wife "You know, it seems like everyone here has aftermarket wheels. I think you need some...." My b-day is coming up [/QUOTE]

That was fun! I wish we had more time to stop & talk, but there is next year! Hopefully we'll BOTH have better set up & do it next year. After that run we had 4 hour ride ahead of us, we talked about that run the whole way home.

May 17-20.

www.fontanavillage.com

I just found the date out and booked. We normally book our cabin when we checkout but I didn't go the past two years. Can't wait to get back, I heard I was missed

Just a PSA for all the newbies and new comers next year...

IT IS an unwritten rule that you kindly move aside for faster vehicles. You would think the Z and G guys would know this.

The only buzzkill of my weekend was getting behind 2 Z's on 2 seperate occasions that would not move aside. Even a yellow Impalla towing kayaks moved aside...

That being said.

Orange Z with the GTR wannabe front bumper and worst wheels in the world SCREW YOU. There were many times to pull over and even after I pushed you so hard you almost flew off the road you would still not get over. Please don't come back next year.

White Z with CCW wheels... Hella flush looks great but SUCKS on these roads... You know this and still would not move over. WHAT GIVES????

Rant over.

I think im just grumpy cause im back at work and it's rainy and cold... Damn you Ohio/...
AS an instructor it causes me concern that you were pushing a fellow enthusiast so hard that he almost flew off the mountain. reflect for a second and think how you would feel if that actually happened?

Thanx for the kind words towards the staff. we do this for you!

Mike, sorry we didn't get our annual run this year, just wasn't in the mood. After 200+ runs up the dragon and 300+ up and down Hellbender it has lost its appeal to me. I did rock the yaris on Sunday, and yes FWD = FML but it was narrow enough to run two wide. Nex time I do Sebring I'll give you a buzz.

My Z is so obnboxious now, that there is no way the police wouldn't ticket me even if it wasn't me

to Clay's defense I was keeping up with that pace in a 4 door stock civic. It wasn't unsafe just inexperienced drivers pushing their limits on a difficult road.

Well giving the AMP another year should be sufficient we hope. We already have a sponsor and a contract for AMP track day next year, assuming it will be open. I'll be instructing and giving rides.

Sir - Im the guy with pink lug nuts. It's hard to put names to faces, especially when there's that much alcohol involved lol... I got the Brembos from a member here. Got a steal on them actually. Be patient something will come up.

I never ever said that. There are a **** ton of guys out there that are way better drivers than I am, but the pink lugs for sure help me out... Screw your blue lugs, pink give you more go go...

No need to be a jerk face.

But if I come up on you then your going slower than me and should move. Simple concept. Were you there fiftyz?

I completely see what your saying Lightning, but I would of pulled over if someone did that to me. I wasnt meaning to push him, just aggrivated. And it was his choice to go faster and be unsafe...

Damnit Don are you calling me slow? I still don't believe you have a Z, both years I have went with you guys you haven't had it... FAKE Z lol... See you next year and bring your damn Z.

What part of that doesn't sound safe? Not trying to be a heavy here, but we potentially totalled one car, and sadly that is a good year. These are dangerous roads, and one should focus all their attention on what is around them. If they are getting heavy pressure in the rear view and pushing themselves past thier limits, there is very little room for error up there. Almost no guard rails, to cliff faces one up and one down on either side.

Maybe I'm just a little more laid back about it, but if someone wants to be the keep of the speed in front of me, I figure it is for good reason, almost everytime it happens, it has saved me from a ticket. I generally end up buying them a beer.
