Read First!


We had a small meet here in Sac, there was about 6 of us, Ill let everyone that came chime in. I personally had a fun time, it was short, but nice meeting everyone, we will definitely meet up again and plan further ahead so we have more time.


This video is BigBri(Brian) and calimarc(Marc) racing on the highway, Bri is making 550rwhp 490rwtq, and I believe Marc is making 470rwhp 420rwtq. We just wanted to do some fun runs to see what the power difference meant, Bri and I honestly thought it was going to a tight race. Very few cars stay this close to Bri, so it was really fun. All the races were started in third gear around 50 or 60 mph. Needless to say by my expression in the second race we got to 140 very quick, I thought it was 135 but he had already started slowing down and the gauge pod is slow at keeping up with the actual MPH even in my car...


I think the last 2 races are the best, now Marc, in the last race we werent trying to be jerks or something, we kind of thought it looked like that on tape when we watched it. But I wanted him to give you a small head start so we know we arent getting a jump on you (not sure if you heard the honks very good) we aren't getting cocky It kind of looks that way on camera, when you see this thread let us know if you were hearing the honks, hope to meet up again, nice meeting you and your wife, drive safe!

Hi guys, I just wanted to say that it was nice meeting you all and that the videos don't do justice, I mean we were really flying down that freeway of course my lowly horsepowered car could not keep up...haha.

After you left I raced Marc a few times so hopefully more vids will be up shortly.

Hey, nice meeting you, you are a very calm mannered man Talking about porsches and high hp cars like you are getting a massage lol I got that first run with Marc you did, it looked like you were pulling away most of the way then at the end he pulled the lead, what kind of HP is your G making again?? I regret not getting to hear it, it sure sounded sweet on start up, anyways cya next time!

Nice meeting you too, yeah I think I am a bit to quite, maybe I need to be more of a rebel...lol, nah that wouldn't suit me. My car is making a 420rwhp but there is room for improvement.

Brian my vr4 will be sold so maybe when I get my new toy you can race that let me decide what that shall be.

 

Wow 420rwhp?!? I can see why you took Marc from the start, that S/C makes the power right away! Dont worry about being kind of queit, you are just a mellow person, its cool, and suits you, keep it up

Hey Brian, did you like how the vid turned out?? I think my back is going to be sore tomorrow from twisting to video Marc and all your TQ trying to suck my back around lol....serious though It was fun bro, we should do again soon, if my lady is working late this weekend and its clear we should go hunting...haha. The race against Marc where I lead was due to me getting a half car head start, the when I hit 120+ and went around that bend I started to get off the gas and Marc flew by. I actualy thought he would have caught me earlier but I think he was testing out what gears were better for launching.

That was def a good time. Nice meeting erryone again, and Paul and Marc for the first time. Great cars and friendly races is what its all about. Pat has some videos of several races we'll try to post (Ian hit me up as you may need to do this for us). Pat and myself will be down for another meet whenever/as-soon-as possible! With all of the video taping that went on I'd like to see some more vids soon!

 

Sorry bro, I was out all day doing random things with the family.....then when I got home about an hour and a half ago I was pounding on my right fender I had this rubber mallet/hammer thing and carefully bent that little lip on the inside of the fender up, went for a test drive, the slight rubbing on hard right turns and going into steep driveways is gone!!! lol Now I like my tires, the whole rubbing issue had me bugged and hating the tires, now its all good...
