Track results in my 95 cobra. first time with nitrous short vid
my car is a 95 cobra with a stock longblock, boltons, exhaust and 3.73 gears.
this was my first time driving a nitrous car. I had my 18x9s up front and 17x10.5 bullitts in the rear with 26x11.5 et street mounted up. about 3500 or so race weight.
my first pass, i didnt know what to expect, ran a rich 125shot and 6-8 degrees of timing, heres the break down:
1.69
7.88 @89.91
12.334 @112.09
second pass, same shot:
1.67
7.9 @87.26
12.330 @112.3
third pass we upped the jets.
1.67
7.78 @88.1
12.13 @114.69
with a little more timing and less weight it will go 11's on the 125. I didnt make anymore passes since i lost a starter bolt and couldnt beat on it anymore. Which the grey new edge cobra i saw on university with the plate that read "it bits" or something like is very lucky or else i would have waxed that turd

last week i was running 13.2s@102.9 with only high 1.7s. in good weather the car has gone 13.0@105.98 with a 1.86 on street tires and 12.9@104.5 on the et streets. the et streets are quite tall i was only rolling through the traps at 5500rpms last night in 4th. NA my car stops making power at that point.

well to be honest, im not sure if it has an upgraded diff or axles. i know it has 3.73s and thats about it. on my 01 vert i had about 130 passes on sticky tires before it broke.

wow, 130 passes would take me years to do. The track closest to me is always far to busy to get more then like 5-6 runs a day. And sometimes thats pushing it. Lucky bastards!! lol!
