It actually has more than 1001 HP. There are three speed settings on the car, one that goes up to 150, another that hits just above 200, and the third, you have to stop the car, turn a special key, the car lifts a little to allow more air, the spoiler is at a 90 degree angle and the thing hits 253.

 

any mode youll get over 230mph. in top speed mode you get the full 252 but it reverts if you hit the brakes too hard. on a cold day you can see well over 1000hp. that 1001 is on the hottest day at altitude...
