Thats Extreme Motorwerks out of Patterson NJ. Carl Stevens JR is the driver. The car is a full tube chassi car with a Fiberglass Nissan body, the car runs an RB26DET on a Powerglide tranny if I recall correctly. That video is way old, and that car has run at some NOPI and NHRA events, but is very inconsistant. The only thing 350Z OEM on that car is the Doors.

Aftermarket companies still make them.

Power Glides are so smooth and consistant alot of classes outlaw their use in the NHRA and NDRA as wel as NOPI.

Well I guess their theory was to go with a platform that already has a HUGE aftermarket following and has been proven to be reliable at those HP levels for years already. That car makes in the area of 1200-1300whp without the N2O if I remember corectly from the article I read.

I saw that car in august of 05 and I went to go check it out at the pits and it had a tt vq. It looked just a vq but with 2 massive turbos. I tried takeing a pic of the motor but pit crew didnt look like they would be to happy. So I took a pic of the rear.
