Here's one... doesn't compare to actually riding in the car, let me tell you. It's a Lotus Elise with a great driver at Texas World Speedway:

Here are a few vids from an event I attended this summer. Was my first time at TMS and I had an absolute blast. The car performed great and thanks to the stoptechs I could make up a ton of time on people in the braking zones. My sig pic with the glowing rotors was taken that night.

The glowing rotors.. that's one of the coolest photos I've seen.

As for TWS.. probably my favorite parts about going clockwise are (1) the long sweeper turn that exits onto the main straightaway (turns 2 & 1).. you're just trying to accelerate as much as you can, without letting the rear end get out, so much fun, and (2) Turn 7, a banked turn which exits onto the back straightaway. As Jefferson says in the Elise video I posted, "1.3 G's at 100+mph"

 

Here's another video from the same Elise as above. He's chasing a silver BMW M Coupe and a white BMW 3-series. I think the M Coupe may be Stuart's, and the white BMW might be Bill Kim's old Soulspeed car, but I'm not positive. In any case, it looks like fun.

Yeah, looks like Stuart and Bill. Loosk like they're flying. It's cool to see Bill's car in person and watch it lift a wheel in the turns. Gotta convince Stuart to take his 350Z to the track-so far I've only seen him run the M coupe.
I just signed up for the Drivers Edge event there next weekend to test out the new SPL end links-anyone else going?

 

Stuart said he tracked the 350Z once, maybe November, but he seems to like his S2000 (and M Coupe) better. Who can blame him, it's 400 lbs lighter, and so fun on the track (I rode with him once or twice in December at DE).

I was gonna go to DE on Feb 3-4, but my 18" wheels won't be in now until mid-February. I'm on 19" KDW2 tires that are pretty low on tread... so now I'm torn on whether to go or not. Should I go on these old tires, or wait a month for the new wheels/tires? I also have some swaybars that should be here sometime in January -- if they come in I'll probably run, because I'd like to make one handling change at a time.

 

Might as well finish those tires off. Will the 18's be strictly track wheels/tires?
Sounds like there are still a lot of spots left for the Feb DE so we might have a little less traffic than usual out there.

 

good work sffarah, using the Z for what it was designed for something we rarley see these days. I cant wait to see what florida has instore with the clubs down here for this summer. Man loved the vids, keep heel and toeing man lol.
