did it look like he was going into the turns a bit wide for anyone else? i would understand if he's trying to pass the Cayman but it didn't look like he had an opening most of the time.

One need to take into consideration the fact that the Z was running with a "tuned-up version S2000" and a Cayman "S". The fact that the Z was knocking the Cayman s tail speak volumes. After all. the Nismo version is all Aesthetics. The were no improvement on the engine base from a regular Z. So, in my humble opinion, the Z Won! And as far as the M3 BMW Coupe is concern. Well, that's a lot of horse power to weith diference.

I can't view the video since youtube is blocked where I'm at right now lol
But I'm guessing it's the Best Motoring May episode of 07 and Nismo Z and it's the part where they do the Tsukuba battle?
Well the track was very very wet on that one...
Also, when they did the handling test via slalom and lane change, Nismo Z marked the best time outta other 4 vehicles.

Since the NISMO is a bunch of body kit stuff with a stock 07 motor, How much do you guys think it will cost to get an 07 to nismo standards (suspension) sans the bosykit?

The Nismo Z did post the best Time Attack time out of the 4, so it's not too bad. And yea, his turns were way too wide.

The "stable" Porsche driver would have been waved over in a real race, in order to let the Nissan pass.

The Honda driver, was way too happy!

What exactly is rain line? And if he was using it, why weren't the others? The others seemed to go through the corners so much more efficiently than him so rain line didn't help, if that's what he was doing.

Z4 won easily cuz it was the only car with electronic assist on.
Towards the end, when the driver turned it off the car was all over the place, by far most twitch of the bunch.

In rain the grip off line is often better than the normal racing line where all the oil & rubber is....
