it says it is a single turbo - 520rwhp??

does anyone whos car is this, or if this car is on the forum

I don't buy that...A car with more whp loses to a car with less flywheel hp...

That is D350z** (not sure his user name) car.

His car indeed did put out those numbers. He upgraded to a T66 or something of that sort i beleve on his turbonetics kit. Obviously the Z06 is modded. I don't think it takes a genious to come to that inference.

 

IMO its not all about HP, the ZO6 is lighter with alot better gearing and a better powerband.

I believe that video was done before he upgraded the turbo. I know he posted that they reraced with his new setup and he actually pulled the vette by half a car.

 

Yea the Zo6 is a beast. Tough car stock and when its modded sorry.

Got in a big stink with this video on another forum where the C6 driver chimed in, he said he beat the Z everytime and the only time the Z got ahead was when he put the car in the wrong gear just for giggles apparently.

 

a 520 hp z is still going to beat the z06 in the 1/4. Sorry fanboys.

Thats my car, that was at 485rwhp and 480rwtq at 14psi, on my race gas map i beat a c6 zo6 with a cam, and full bolt ons from a 55 punch and put 1.5 cars on him. Yancy another memember on here saw the race! Also I spin through most of 3rd.

 

There's your answer right there. . . .a Z06 with bolt ons ain't no joke. Good race. . . .now post up a vid of you beatin the S#*T out of him !!

obviously your on a built motor, but you swapped out to a t66, correct? ever consider a gt35r?

but all in all, z06's are no joke. my dad has an 03, and that thing pulls nasty! its a very restricted motor, stock, thats why intakes add so much power, for instance, the vararam intake add 45 crank hp, cams turn it into a whole other monster.

why dont cams do **** for our cars...

 

The ZO6 had a cam & full bolt-ons or your car did? A cam'ed C6 ZO6 with full bolt-ons is ~550-600rwhp.
