Default Freshly fried donuts in an empty parking lot! Proper hooliganism!

Me and a friend of mine went out and burned up some rubber tonight. He had a run in his RX-8 but his tires were just too grippy and the rotary engine just doesnt develope enough torque for him to get going well. But I had my ZR and burned up some serious rubber! Had a few people show up to watch at a distance.

The vid is encoded in DivX 5, its about 40 MB in size.... Enjoy! I know I did...

Nice try there bud... been driving RWD cars for years, I know how to drive them and how not to drive them.

Nothing wrong with having a little fun, sorry you can't appreciate that. I'll bet you never did donuts in your car huh? Heh...

i wish i could do donuts like that just once...alas, the realities of not having an lsd and not wanting to wear out my tires prematurely like that are holding me back... haha now you have to practice donuts around a hot chick in her car, all fast and the furious like

Yeah tires are expensive, but you gotta pay to play. Probably took a good 10-20% of tread off there, lol. But they are Sumitomo's and only cost like $250 for the rears off tirerack. Much cheaper than burning up some Toyo T1R's thats for sure.

I race in the SCCA and NASA, I have no reason to do donuts in a parking lot.

Nothing worng with laying a little rubber in a large, empty lot. Don't let some of the guys on here get you down... Its no different than the hours I've spent on a skid pad IMHO (well.. it is.. but you know what I mean ). Now.. go out, and support your local road course and sign up for an HPDE.

I don't know what it is with some of you... but hey if you dont like this kind of stuff why do you have a Z for one, why are you visiting my thread, and more so why are you replying to it? Just mind your own business if its not your own thing? But whatever... I thought you guys might enjoy a little tire smoke, guess you enjoy coming into a forum and replying to threads to attempt and rip on someone who was having a little fun and tried to do it in a somewhat safe manner a little more.

mdracer76, Autocross is really the only decent 'racing feel' we can get out here, we don't have a road course/track or anything and probably never will.
