Due to the amazing increase in flow capability of the VQ35HR versus the old VQ35, I would leave the intakes stock so you can suck that cold air.

The biggest problem with the aftermarket intakes is they screw up your a/f. I'm running my stock intakes until I get a tuner to fix the a/f.

Default 2007 filter

i just got my 7500 mile oil change/service last week at precision z in canoga park, and they replaced my filters with k&n. they used the ones that are for the 2007 g35. apparently, they have the same size filter. we compared the ones from my car to the ones they had in a box for the g and they had the same model number.

K&N doesn't even show it available for the 07 G35. So I am confused how they replaced your filters with K&N's. Maybe they used the stock paper replacement filters for the G35 on your car.

Verified, there is no K&N Air Filters for the G35/G37 or 350z.

Dear Valued K&N Customer,

At this time, K&N has not released a replacement air filter for your vehicle. If you'd like to be notified if/when a replacement air filter is released for your vehicle, please visit our Product Request page at http://www.knfilters.com/products_needed/default.aspx and take a minute to fill out the form. You will be notified via e-mail when a replacement filter is released. (The system will automatically send you an e-mail with all current products available or confirmation that we do not have what you are looking for, and future e-mails will be sent if new products become available).

Thanks for writing,

I have a 2007 Nissan 350Z that has the new VQ35HR engine in it with duel intakes. The 2007 Infiniti G35 and 2008 G37 Coupe also have this engine. The filters are smaller but square compared to the older generation of engines. Do you have ideas on when you will get one available for this? The 2007 G35 has been out for over a year and you still show none available for this vehicle.

I'm going to bug them at SEMA, hopefully it'll help speed up the process a bit.

Still nothing... I don't undersand what the delay is???

Perhaps they are freaking out because of the two filter elements and how they are going to justify charging $72 for a set of filters!!!!
