It is a known fact that the tapered design of the plenum on the DE did alter distribution of the air to the front cylinders of the motor. The spacers raised the front of the plenum and decreased this restriction providing more balanced air distribution and power. If you look at the HR dissected thread and note the new design of the plenum, it is a more uniform front to back design. Logic would dictate that a spacer would do nothing for an HR motor.

Until it has been tested, you can not go by "LOGIC"

Geee...sorry...I guess logic has no place in this conversation. How about you tell me why you think a spacer would increase performance on the HR.

HR plenum is a far better design than the DE, and the HR addresses the inherent downfalls of the DE manifold, but by mating it to a different motor that has somehwat of a different powerband, theres no way to know for sure that the HR wouldn't respond to a plenum with larger volume.

I could maybe see a benefit with a larger plenum with FI applications. With N/A on the HR motor and twin throttle bodies, I cannot realistically see any benfit from a larger volume plenum.
