Default Additional Mods??

I don't know what other mods i should make to my car. I have an 07 touring. Mods: Stillen dual intake, labree test pipes, custom 3inch dual exhaust by Fast Intentions, having headers built on my car by Fast Intentions within two weeks, and i am going to get a UTEC and get my car tuned. What other mods could i go for besides nitrous and Forced induction? Any suggestions on what their is left to do and/or wait for? THX

My advice to anyone modding their car is always the same. SUSPENSION....SUSPENSION....SUSPENSION. I have Tanabe's TEAS system with the Sustec PRO 5's. Very nice!!! And under 2g's for the coilovers and black box!!

+1
I' have the intake/exhaust done on my 07.
After much research my next step is the ride and wheels= sway's and full adjustable setup with new rims. Then i'm going for bigger rotors and pads hopeully when i'm done my Z will actually be able to handle the power of a turbo setup.

Cheers

Kevin

Since when did labree test pipes fit the 07's, or are they modified to fit?? And when did UTEC release their piggy back for the 07's??

O i just had labree design the 07 test pipes on my car. Took about a week and he just finished building the jigs for them. They will out for sale shortly for the HR's. And UTEC didn't come out with one yet im just planning to get the UTEC when it does come out. And Fast Intentions is going to build headers off my car in about two weeks. So he should have 07 headers out in about 1-2 months.

This is my second Tanabe suspension system. I swapped in the SUSTEC-PRO SOC after 3k miles. That gave my a firm and responsive ride that was not harsh. Well after havung the TEAS system installed all I can say is WOW!! Since I only have the suspension installed for two months I am using the automatic feature. The suspension adjusts automatically on the fly. You can feel the suspension stiffen & soften up depending on the driving surface, speed, and g-forces. If you get this system you won't be sorry!!!

Do you know how this compares to the nismo suspension kit. Im thinking the tanaba's could even be better because nismo overprices everything but is not necessarly better.

I was thinking the same thing...
I have Fast Intentions true dual with test pipes, JWT popcharger intake, 5/15 plenum spacer... waiting to get the header from Fast Intentions..What else can I do to gain power? no pulley.

IIRC Nismo isn't adjustable.

Ummm... they're talking '07's here. You have plenty of choices. Try searching.

Very good. It's my dream exhaust.......it is very loud and very deep but at the same time i think it delivers a lot of power. Tested out a couple of exhausts and the 3 inch gives a noticable difference. You don't gain as much torque as you do HP but once you hit around 4000 RPM then you get a huge surge of power which i like. I'm going to get my car dynoed by Fast Intentions asap so tony can see how much power and torque he is gaining with the dominator exhaust. I'm pretty sure he will get the dynos done by the following monday so there will be a post up soon displaying the results.

Headers for the 07s will not yeild enough power to justify spending a pretty penny for parts and labor. Good luck though..

clutch and flywheel. 06 and 07 clutches suck and a lightweight flywheel is such a great mod for the track and even street

... as far as HR Z's are concerned, I wouldn't touch the clutch or flywheel until Nissan fixes the issues.

Hasn't it already been stated from Sharif that when he took apart the HR motor, the headers were equal length and therefore aftermarket headers wouldn't yeild that much horsepower? The DE's headers were quite restrictive, and that's why headers were more efficient. Correct me if i'm wrong. If I'm wrong, my apologies

The headers are very close to equal length, yes. But that doesn't say whether after some good R+D that a better design can't be made.
