+1. If you're looking for something specific, you gotta search titles only. And if you want to be even more specific, you limit it to certain sections of the forum. It really isn't that hard.

ok and your not a mod, so what right do you have to create and enforce your own law?

personally i find your thread being constantly bumped more annoying than anything else Ive seen in here, its annoying checking this section everyday in the hope that the greddy tt kit is finally released so i can buy one, for my hr only to see its another bump of this thread by you.

how about you go buy a 350z hr, then participate in this section

Sorry to annoy a new member with 5 posts but bboy is right. He is not making new rules, rather he is reminding people of the already existing terms of use.

His language may seem harsh, but believe me, he is doing more good than harm by posting this.

It is more annoying for more people to be subjected to lame noob posts every other day that ask questions which can be answered if the noob learns how to search.

THANK GOD FOR THIS THREAD....even though it wont do much to deter future search button neglect.

I think we should have an ultimate HR sticky with all of the common questions... (clutch issue, exhaust fitment, FI, tuning options, etc etc.)

I think bboy just stated everything many older owners are thinking. Nothing wrong with being new to the forum, but please oh god please search. Also, bboy may NO LONGER be an owner, but his knowledge and Premier Memebership contribute SOOOO much more than most.

SOLO looks like bboy's just trying to use some tough love on the forum... let's all try to get along

and bboy, try to tone down the language... I think you can make your point without the bad words that seem to marginally offend certain people

I think bboy's 1st post on this thread should be set up as a sticky in the HR subforum and locked!!! I know this turned into an arguement regarding the search function on this forum, but his post has become a great one stop tool for modding. The information he has provided thus far will answer 95% of new owner questions when they look to mod their HR cars (07+). The other 5% will be questions like "which intake/exhaust is better". That can be discussed as a general thread.

Considering he doesn't even own a Z any longer, he's quite educated in the upgrades and seems to enjoy updating his valuable database. I'd hate to put him on the spot for continuing to update, but he seems to be up for the challenge.

You said hfc/tp's don't fit, but do 03-06 catbacks fit 07+ z's? I would think the answer is no, but just double checking.

I thought it was already common knowledge that everything BUT the cats/test pipes and headers would fit. Guess not.

Yes, '03-'06 aftemarket (and stock) exhausts fit on the '07

love the thread Bboy..........nothing like a good noob thrashing to lay it out straight for them. Your op makes everything clear as far as where the HR motor stands at this point for mods.
