It has been done. There is a Local owner in the mid-A section. He owns a Nismo Z and have installed Stillen headers on his Nismo Z. I'm not 100% sure but I believe his wife also has headers on her Nismo Z.

Ex2cinaZ, has his and her Zs, but I think that's the wife. Does her husband post on here too?

It's interesting that Stillen would sell the headers without knowing if they fit correctly.

well in this case, u better be getting the crawfords, or get in contact with z1 (the guy that has the 300+whp na z with the endless bbk) cause i remember reading in some thread that he was working on a set of true long tube headers. long tubes can come in very handy with the hr's high redline

just my 2 cents

These headers may very well fit, but it would seem that aftermarket companies would have test-fitted them long ago. If they fit okay, they would probably be on sale right now. Another possibility was that there was some type of power loss associated with these headers.

I'm sure that Adams NA car from Z1 has plenty of nice parts, but most them are one off. I believe there were a few 350Z race cars that ran long tube headers for big gains, but again, they're pretty much one off pieces.

adam is actually running the crawford headers, but they're making (or contracting out) true long tubes for a customer, depending on the gain, an expensive 1 off piece may be worth it

i'm just not the one that wants to test that out, i'm not rich enough, so i throw ideas out and hope somebody with money picks up on it

SGSash has some one-off long tube headers on his 350Z race car. Good gains were mentioned along with the possibility of developing similar headers for production.

The Kansas City Z Car Club had a dyno day yesterday. On my 07 auto with only K&N filters went from 251 whp/218 torque to 256 whp/224 torque. Another 07 with 6 speed did his first dyno with Stillen Dual Intake with long tube and posted 261 whp/236 torque. These were done on a dynojet. I might add the Stillen sound was very tempting but wonder if the Wolf dual intake sounds as good or better.

No, the 251/218 was done on 11/17.07; however temp & humidity were almost the same when the increase run was done on 3/30/08.

Those numbers could just be because your car made more power as the miles stacked up. Same day dynos are the best..

sorry.. just saw this one.. Yes, I'm the "wife" and yes Josh and I both have the 06 stillen Headers on the 07 nismos, have not had any issues - they run and sound great. We did however install high flow cats (r tune) - we had a full 3" dual straight back w/ x pipe custom exhaust built onto both cars.
