sounds pretty good. Did the Hfc's make a noticable increase in the loudness?

Yes they did. Louder at warm up, decel, accel, every aspect. Only time it isn't really noticeable is when i'm idling after fully warmed up. Then its barely louder, barely noticeable. (Versus nismo catback only.) If you want less rasp, less drone i'd go for crawfords HFC. They are ceramic and more closely packed inside, these are sort of like half test pipes / half cats, if that gives you a better sound reference.

Sounds good.

Side note: Not just to you, but to 90% of people that make exhaust videos... it needs to be more than just that. Gotta hear it through the entire rev range, WOT. Inside and outside the car. 5 seconds of sound when the camera's not even close isn't good enough. I know you didn't do this, but there was another video of someone revving at a standstill, but it was only revving to like 3000 rpms... WTF? Rev the **** out.

Tony (does appreciate the vid)

not saying you are wrong or anything, but when i had my Berk HFC's with nismo exhaust, the rasp was only present when reving on driving durring warm up. After it warms up for a few minutes there is no more rasp for those that are wondering.

Thats what I meant though.. I meant the car was louder in every aspect with the HFCs. The rasp is only when the car is cold. You can't really hear it rasp from inside, but on the outside when it's cold it tends to rasp more. Only around 2800-3k rpms. One little yelp of rasp. lol

And bboy, i know these vids werent the greatest. It was hard to communicate w/ my brother because of all the cars passsing. I had to wait for a chance where there was no cars and I couldn't do flybys and **** because of cars too. But I tried. Just wanted to post a sound clip from the outside. Inside sounds about the same as stock nismo but little louder, i'll get that one up when I can.

I love this setup. I can be discreet around popos all day. But when I want to rip it this is loud too. Perfect for street IMO.. but in the future i'd probally upgrade to a true dual w/ 2.75in piping.

There was actually no rasp in this vid at all.. If you want to hear rasp go listen to Test pipes. If your talking about the regular driving vid, its actually more burbly than raspy..

+1 I didn't hear any rasp. It has a very good tone, just wish there was more video of sound and none of, well, nothing.

How do you tune a car with no ecu tuning option? I don't have a tune, nor did I get any codes. I will tune my car later on for gains. The only people that get codes after installing HFCs are the ones that damaged some part during the install. Refer to berks HFC for 07 thread for issues regarding installation. I had mine installed at a shop next to Berk, and he told them what to do and install went by like a breeze. I HIGHLY recommend going to an installer that has done these before, unless you are under your car too. Again, refer to berks thread.

Crawfords should sound slightly different because they are ceramic. Like I said earlier, Berk's should be a little louder because they are better flowing metallic substrate ones. I don't have a comparison picture, but I think these were 200cell cats. These give pretty good gains in hp / tq. Again IMO the sound is like inbetween cats / test, but closer to HFCs. I'll have my car redynoed / tuned when technosquare comes out.

Berk also offer ceramic hfc too though don't they? I got some and I swore they are ceramic, unless 07 models only have metallic versions.
