Nismo clutch/flywheel?
Well, I'm about to take my car into the shop to get the slave cylinder replaced. But while the tranny is off, I was thinking about replacing the clutch with Nismo parts and save a few bucks off of the labor costs. So I have a few questions...
Anyone do this already? Any issues?
I've heard that the pedal gets a little squishy from the higher torque capacity. Does the clutch still feel alright? Better? Worse? Any fixes?
And finally, I'm not sure that I want to replace the flywheel, but if I do, will the '03 - '06 flywheel fit?
Any info would be helpful.

at the time I got my car serviced during the beginning stages of this issue (7-9 months ago) there was not a Nismo clutch/flywheel. I had intended doing the same as you're suggesting. That could have changed since then I suppose.

HR motors use a different crank sensor from earlier cars so Nismo flywheel will not work.I have heard that the Nismo clutch will bolt up to the late model stock flywheel, but with a revised tranmission and slave cylinder there could be other issues.I wasn't willing to chance it with my car.

when my slave cylinder died(2007 350Z, around 5000 miles) i thought it was a dead/slipping clutch.. i bought a JWT clutch, and the shop that installed the clutch went back and forth with jwt for a few days about the pilot/throw out bearing being too small...jwt tested it, and said it would work, but the flywheel was marked improperly for the timing sensor, so i couldnt get one of those. when the new slave is installed i will repost and let you guys know if i break it, or if it fails.
