Default my clutch got stuck like half way while i was reving up, can someone explain?

i was getting on the highway while SOFTLY launching.... i was in 3rd gear going 55mph, changed into 4th while pressing the case, let go of the clutch and next thing you now my rev meter passess over 5000rpm and the clutch is not realeased all teh way.



i hit the cluth and brake and slow down to 3rd..... havent had a chance to see the mechanic/dealership yet.

anyone know whats up?? my 2007 base has 1600 miles on it.

But on a serious note, take it to the dealer and get the recall done. They will replace your slave cylinder and put in some new fluid.

you car , just like many others is suffering from a problem with the slave cylinder. there is a recall on it, so take it to you dealer to get it fixed.

and in the future, to avoid giving the forum junkies the opportunity to flame you, use the search feature.
