ok how do i start this.
ok, as everybody saw from the sema event in vegas earlier this year. greddy had there 07 z there with there twin turbo setup on the car and they had an HR motor sitting outside of the car with turbo kit on it as well.
well when i was looking at the pictures of the motor sitting on the outside of the car i also noticed there was an after market clutch and flywheel setup. so i had my race shop call greddy up and ask which clutch/flywheel setup they had on the car. greddy replied and said it is OS Giken imported straight from japan and its a twin disc setup and its run around 1500 dollars for it.
now with that being said i wanted to order one and greddy told my race shop not to worry about buying one because they have already tried lots of setups on the car and with everyone the slave cylinder blows.
so coming from greddy they do not recommened us 07/08 owners put on an after market clutch/flywheel set up until there is an after market slave cylinder made to handle the presure of the aftermarket clutch/flywheel world.
i just wanted wanted to throw that info up there, maybe it was already mentioned but maybe not so thats why i decided to post this up. i can only hope there is a slave cylinder made before the twin turbo kit comes out because that could suck if theres not.
thanks.

did they know Nissan just made newer slave cyls that they are replacing earlier models with now?
I think with items like Tilton and other big dollar clutches you might be able to get a custom type slave cyl with them. Maybe it was the master cyl? I know ive seen them for other setups though. I would try with them first
