I have fujita intakes i was mad i spent top dollar for these intakes with out heat shields so i did what was necessary with custom heat shields and custom ram air ducting and i have a Injen track edition exhaust. I also have cusco sways but thats irrelevant on this post. It was done on a mustang dyno. Tell me what you guys think

your right both runs were done with those modifications no difference in the car between the runs i never had a stock baseline done, but this is what i got after intake exhaust and those custom mods thats just 2 pulls I was asking what you thought about the hp and Tq #'s

 

A mustang dyno must not do RWHP cause that # is way high!

Those are nice numbers. However this is the second time a mustang dyno has put out unusually high numbers for an 07. Tourinz had similar numbers on a mustang dyno. I would be very curious to see the dyno jet or dyno dynamic numbers for comparison to all the other HR dyno numbers posted. If they stayed that high or even close I would be very impressed. Or you could take it to the track and post some quarter mile times. If it really does have that much HP and TQ you should be able to hit 12s with a decent launch.

see I could be wrong but I heard the dynojets post higher numbers then mustang dynos and they had like 4 stock S2000 Posting 219 to 222 I ve seen dyno jets post similar numbers if not higher I don't think its reading high these guys there work on Zs everyone was quite impressed with the ram air with the fans it was unbeilvable how much air was rusdhing straight onto the filters I wish there were some HR'S there with me to compare with and I do have to get down to the track im curious myself I couldent believe it pulled those numbers all the guys were saying 255-270 from the shop

 

Yeah thats what most HRs are putting out. But when you get to the track definitely post up some times. I'm curious to see your trap speeds with that kind of power.

 

My 07 with just a Nismo exhaust got 253.4 on a mustang dyno.

 

Notice the dyno sheet says "engine power", it doesn't say wheel hp. I really don't think that was measured at the wheels.

 

Which is more in line with most HR numbers. 300 is a bit much. Even uncorrected with Intake, exhaust, and test pipes cars are only putting out about 295, but who knows? I will save judgement for time slips.

 

Yea idn what happened in that dyno. If he had the technosquare reflash it woudl be more believeable

 

I'm leaning towards 2 things...thats got a correction to represent power at the crank, and that the fans played a role.

Dyno with one fan on the radiator, or no fans.

 

1: thats wheel HP
2: mustang dyno's when set up correctly display lower numbers than a DJ
3: im guessing the mustang dyno operators arent sure of the parameters on the new HR z's and are screwing up the numbers

 

Mustang dynos can be easily adjusted to say whatever you want them to say. You could make a stock Z make 900whp.

 

Is it possable ive had my mods on for almost a year my computer adjusted air fuel ratio fairly well more so then people who put them on and dynoed right away. My custom ram air piping might of helped.with the fans blowing it was rushing a serious amount of air onto the filters you actually felt the air rushing into the filters. They are a nissan z and s200 performance shop( they do all cars but those are the main ones) i was just another car on the list to be dyneoed. Again if the dyno was off then all the cars would have been running high numbers. does anyone have a dyno sheet with fujita intakes and injen exhaust to compare i havent seen anyone else with a injen exhaust trach edition dynoed

 

Actually Mustang Dynos dyno lower than most dynos.

 

Its unlikely, the computer doesn't take a year to "learn" the correct A/F ratio.

 

ECU will not fully adjust unless a ECU reset is done. The long term learning code isn't changed without doing this only the short term.

The ECU will learn over about 100 miles of new mods added, but it is best to reset it.
