Ok i will checkout the Stillen exhaust. Thanx mate.

well, i had bought the aam exhaust planning to use it eventually when i went fi, but i had some really bad test pipes that were on the car that were made at a local exhaust shop...i had ordered the berk hfc's and while i was under the car putting on the hfc's i couldnt resist installing the aam exhaust i had sitting in the garage...i did all of this about a week ago while i was on r&r from iraq...my leave is now over and i am back in the sandbox...i may be able to email a pic of the exhaust, but other than that the internet here sucks really bad, and uploading a photo may take days....another note, the resonator/muffler sections of the aam exhaust sit really close to the drive shaft, like 2 inches, and that makes me kinda nervous...the aam exhaust took some serious work to get it all in place because the pipes are so big. i also had to remove a heat shield near the rear of the car on the passenger side that i think was protecting the fuel lines, but the exhaust doesnt get that hot becuase of the giant pipes, so im not too worried about that. there is a slight rattle where the pipes sit on a crossmember under the car, but i will figure somthing out for that when i get home in a few months..

I installed both parts at the same time. Prior to my install, I heard the Nismo exhaust locally and liked it, but it was quiet for my taste. I heard some youtube clips online of adding HFCs and I really thought it made it louder while at the same time increasing performance.

There is a member (WalkerT) who had an 07 with Nismo exhaust and Berk HFCs just like me and he dyno'd 284whp. I think those are awesome numbers.

I might buy the Berks HFCs but there another question i wanted to ask, hws the fuel consumption after installing the HFC? any noticeable thirst? any difference bfore adding the HFC? to my knowledge, adding a TP does effect the consumption but for HFC im nt pretty sure.. thanx for the reply...

I believe it has increased. Definitely did not decrease, I don't know where you heard that adding test pipes would decrease fuel consumption, I thought it would be exactly the opposite since you're removing a large restriction in your exhaust path.

If you are planning on going FI and want somethign similiar to teh AAM but imo higher quality exhaust look into teh fast intentions dominator. You can buy it used from me for 1000 or wait till the jigs are done and buy it new. Here are some sound clips with stock cats.
