Default Exhaust suggestion (replace Amuse)

Hey guys, i juz want some suggestions here. I am currently running the R1 Amuse Ti (stock y-pipe n with cats) n planning to replace it. ARC true dual is too pricy so I hav the R1 as a benchmark price. I know some of u wud think dat im mad to replace the Amuse but i wud like to try a true dual setup.

I like the Ti tone but wud prefer a deep growl tone. I was leaning towards the greddy evo TT n did a search on it however its nt advisable for an NA setup.I am still unsure whether to go FI or stay NA.

SUggestions welcome, flaming will be ignored .

i am also torn with which to get (although im going fast intentions 2.5 or 3). i will eventually go TT, but for at least a few years ill be NA. i hate to spend the money on the 2.5 now, just to get a 3 in a few years. how much torque does the HR motor lose with the 3" pipe?

By any chance do you have sound clips of your exhaust? Everyone that posts sound clips has test pipes.

A few years? What would it matter then? Why not buy an exhaust now to gain a little performance, then sell it here when your ready to upgrade to bigger piping. The resale rate on exhaust here is very high.

i agree with silverstripes. you dont wanna be unhappy while waiting to go FI. and plus what if somethin happens that sets you back a few more years?

honestly when it comes to a true-dual setup there are plenty out there that are pretty well priced

for me all it comes down to are the looks of the exhaust and tone... power gains are all pretty similar

i do like the hks though but the evott isnt bad

Definitely keep the Amuse. You won't feel a thing if you switched to a true dual, and you will just lose that sweet titanium sound.

i recently bought and installed a slightly used aam dual 3 inch on my 07, and also put on berk metallic hfc's...this replaced my hks dual.. i am happier with the exhaust note of the aam, but i seemed to lose a bit of power down low, but i think i may have gained some past 4,000 rpms...dunno if this will help you, but i like the aam exhaust better...

I have a Skunk2 Tru-Dual on my 08 Z and I love the sound. I cannot comment on performance since I have never dynoed my car but if you are looking for a cheaper alternative (cheapest true-dual I have come across) then you might want to consider it.

Can't go wrong with the Greddy, I have the Amuse as well. The Greddy was my other choice .

Default Exhaust systems....so many choices!

The HKS dual system sounds incredible, but so does Stillens dual cat-back
system. Since I'm on my third system there's no doubt that the Stillen
system is very well made and sounds great. It would be difficult to choose
between these two. The only reason I'm not running Stillen's my sponsor
gave me one of there cat-back systems, who turns down free? (I should have)
