Default Dyno Numbers on a Stock Nismo Z

This dyno was a Dynomite Land and Sea dyno. I was told it was calibrated to produce numbers between a mustang dyno and a dynojet, but is closer to a dynojet.

Peak numbers are 278.1whp and 242.1 ft-lb of torque.

The temp was around 75-80...humidity unknown.

My AFR was ~11.7, so I'm hoping for an additional 10-15whp and a decent amount of torque with a tune/reflash.

Even though these numbers mean absolutely nothing in terms of comparing to others, I will still give you my compliments. Nice numbers.

Use this as your baseline as you make your way up the ladder of modifications.

Not quite sure if that is lean or not for NA. Not very knowledgeable in terms of reading dyno numbers, just going by what I was told.

its not lean
its WAY rich (thats like turbo afr)
Dont worry we should see another 15-20 ftlbs and another 20 whp Tuned in stock form! Imagine if you had a plenum spacer and some headers!

Oh yeah, I meant rich

Thanks Jon, I'm looking forward to the gains. I wasn't going to post this until I had before and after numbers, but I was kinda bored the other night.

With that A/F, you will be able to free up a decent amount of power with a good tune.

The HR doesn't need a plenum spacer: it has a better stock plennum -- remember the stylish hood change for 2007?

I think the jury is still out with gains from aftermarket headers on the HR, but a true dual exhaust might help, since the Nismo edition exhaust is pretty restrictive.

I second that statement.......but as far as headers they are going to be just like the intakes if you see power it wont be much
