Hey dude I under stand your thoughts...no really I do......but effect is that there is less delay in shifts now....car drives better........Im not saying that I made power.....it feels like it, but could be the fact that it drives better.....I dont quote a package that says 14whp for adding some thing....I go off the facts....I dyno for proven power gains....I have been modding cars since I was 15.....I dont claim that I am a master tech or even a tech at all....the placebo effect does not apply to me.......I go off of fact........I couldnt feel the difference when I added my K&N filters but I know I made 4 whp

We call that the "butt dyno". It comes from spending money.

what are you 16 and beleive everything you read? you cant seriously beleive a grounding kit will ADD horsepower. Maybe half a hp if your lucky.

from their website
"Rear wheel horsepower increases of 5hp to 8hp and rear wheel torque increases of 8 to 10 foot pounds have been seen on Nissan 350Z's and Infiniti G35's when tested on a Chassis Dynamometer"

Grounding kits FTL

Sure......well why didnt they do a true dual exhaust for the HR......more power better gas mileage.....you know that Nissan did R&D on the Z, but they do not focus on effiencey on every aspect, other wise there would not be not room for mariginal improvement......there are soo many factors here cost, time, etc.......if all it took was a couple.....they would have put better spark plugs in the cars, they would have done a plenium spacer on the de, they could have done several more things....but then we would be out of a hobbie and dealers would not have a car that ever broke down

No im not 16 im 27....no if you read further.....I dont believe I made any more horse power.....I believe that my car drives better......less delay in shifts.....effiencey is key........why do a light fly wheel...it gives you nothing just frees up what is already there and it spins faster as a result.....half a hp......what would that be to the crank

a nightmare eventually, because the harmonic damper isn't there anymore.

"I just got done installing pulse plugs in the Z and took it for a quick run, and it seems like the RPM's rise alot quicker, and you can really feel the engine rev, for the most part, it's got some extra kick that you can definetely feel or it may just be me."

Come on dude you post this......and your giving me a hard time?

i'm not too sure if i shifts better, but the engine is more smoother, the idle is very stable. The car just has a nicer feel, less engine vibration when letting off the gas and coasting. I did notice the voltage is slightly higher and the throttle response a tad better.

For an upgrade i didn't have to buy it's good. I took them off my civic that I used to modify.

I really feel as if I gained some power. Better acceleration....The kit was pretty much an easy install when we figured out the directions...only problem is grounding the auto trans pain in the @ss because theres not alot of room to work. I will try to post up some pictures of the engine bay tomorrow. Any questions feel free to pm.
Any comments or suggestions on the ease or lack there of connecting to the ECU? Got my 7 wire set from Z-Enterprises but have not attempted to install yet. Thanks.

why do people think heatsoak is real? why do people think 4lbs extra per wheel will destroy a car's performance? why do people put wings on FWD cars?

these are all questions that may never be answered by anyone other than ricers.

if i see an independant dyno showing a power increase or even smoothed out power curve, i will be a believer. until then, the mod makes no sense. although there isn't much out there for our engines, so i can see where doing this makes a tad bit of sense.

actually those plugs suck and the advertisement was false. they are bad for many reasons first of all no actual mpg gain. second INDEPENDENT dyno (not one given to you by the makers) told barely any power gains. not even enough to say anything about. third after you install these they burn out or break apart in less then 10,000 miles. forth and finally after installed your no longer able to mess with any compression ratios or Force inducton of any kind. so why not just buy *iridium* plugs witch have been used for years now. there a safer bet.
theres a reason pulse plugs are in the thread = "mods that i regret"
And another thing why are you going after someone who tried something new(grounding kit) because of a advertised pitch that stated good things when you yourself bought pulse plugs for the same reason(a sale pitch). come on!
i say i like it. effect or no effect. its his money. and if i have some money that wasn't lined up for something else i would cop these.
and if it gets in the way all you have to do is unscrew it or go around a wire
i think any body who has this mod or in this thread would agree...
