Default Grounding Kit

Hey guys Bill aka BillHyco and I installed my maxground kit yesterday. This is a 7 wire kit. The 2 extra wire ground the auto trans and the ecu....I dont believe the Stillen Kit has either of these.....initial impressions smoother and faster shifts with less delay....Over all a better driving car. I really feel as if I gained some power. Better acceleration....The kit was pretty much an easy install when we figured out the directions...only problem is grounding the auto trans pain in the @ss because theres not alot of room to work. I will try to post up some pictures of the engine bay tomorrow. Any questions feel free to pm.

The only thing I can say bad about the kit is that one of the wires is a little long....other than that no complaints......yet

I dont think that there is a power increase.....I think it just works on the side of effiencey.......keeps voltage regulated maybe.....I dont know......but I can attest to the way my car drives now. You are adding to what is and is not there already in the way of grounds...Now my car has a ground wire running to the trans and to ecu that was not there from the factory. Stereo guys could tell you better than I, bigger guage wire works to your advantage with speakers.......Same concept

Well we will see I am having my car dynoed again next week........Then you might or might not be surprised to what wires can do........Why to people use different (larger than stock) spark plug wires? There has got to be some thing to it because my car is better than it was before the install.

Ok I installed my ground wires. The car's engine feels smoother at idle and below 3,000 RPM. I don't feel more hp though.

You missed the joke. It was about the "engine performance" nature of this forum as opposed to the "cosmetic" nature of the other....

The placebo effect is very powerful. All a grounding kit does is get in the way when installing actual power adder modifcations.

edit:
if all it took was a couple wires to add power, smooth out idle, reduce shift times and smooth out shifts, don't you think manufacturers would have this covered?
