I guess if you think fast and the furious is cool then flames would be cool. You need a tune for those mods to be more efficient... I am guessing you already know that but.... then again some people don't think that. I have a friend who swears up and down his sti is supposed to shoot flame and its not....

Is it normal for the HR to do that at high rpm or am I running rich?
Do you mean 3rd gear? Not really that important, 7200 just seems high at 70 mph.

My Z did the same. when i was playing with my buddies TT RX-7 i dropped it in front of him. he said a small puff of smoke and a flash of fire came out but i did not notice any problems with the car at all when it did that. at the time it only had the fujita intake and stillen high flow cats.

ifyour friend has a catless turbo back on his sti and he is untuned he will spit put massive flames. im gunna try and fin the video but when i was untuned i would shoot flames above my wing so what is that like 4-5 feet? but now that i am tuned i can sometimes shoot out 1-2 footers when the temps drop below 70 for some reason. ha but all in all im still trying to sell the sti and get me a 08 zed
