So about about something that is good and doesn't drone? Bassani, HKS, Evo2, Tanabe hyper medallion all come to mind. Whatever it is you're after in the amuse, it's not worth the extra 3 grand.

greetz thomas

I already thought about it. But:
1. Isn't it only available for vqde-engines?
2. Doesn't like the "regular" look of the catback exhaust
3. The HFC/catback/headers don't give an additional weight saving

But, thank you.

I like the HKS Dual Hi-Power Ti Exhaust or the amuse r1 exhaust. They both look hot + give me some weight reduction + more power. But I don't know how they sound in reality, if they are loud enough or if they're droning..

What other exhaust system parts would you recommend to these two exhausts? Remember I want some loud+more power+less weight combo.

thank you

you're not going to gain any power going from one catback to another...so it all comes down to what you like the looks/sound/price of

But, thank you.
1. all cat back exhausts fit all years of z's, de or hr

2. looks is all a matter of opinion, get what u like

3. hfc will give u additional weight savings, stock cats are really heavy, aftermarket hfc's are generally much smaller than stock and quite a bit lighter. i'm not sure if aftermarket headers are any lighter than stock headers, but if they make anymore power is being tested right now by a board member here, his handle is A.H., he has a thread about it

4000?? Can I PLEASEE have what you've been smoking lately?!?! PLZZ!

What I mean is you are not going to see a power/noise difference from a 1000 dollar exhaust, compared to a 4k exhaust. It better be coated in gold for it to be 4k.

I know you have a cheap *** exhaust now, but buy a True Dual for 1200-1400, or if you want the best sound go with a single exhaust with a Y pipe.

Stick that crotch rocket under your z, wire the throttles together, and there you go! 8000 horsepower - almost as much as the turbo Supras!

4k on an exhaust is a waste period

personally the most expensive exhaust that i like happens to be the trial (1800)

i would buy that exhaust and with the remading money get a sweet suspension setup

4k on exhaust?!?! That's retarded. Dude if you have a budget like that then save 8k more and just put the 4k you already have towards a TT kit.

Just do some research man. Look on the manufacturer websites for specs and search a site like Youtube for exhaust clips. That should eliminate some of your questions. PepBoys has some loud mufflers if you want loud. Civics usually have those as well..
