Default Looking for new exhaust, loud+more power+less weight 4000$ to spend !!PIC!!!

At the moment i'm driving a Topspeed N1 3" without silencer. The sound is damn hot+loud for sure and I love the design. But the droning (1500-3k Rev) kills me..

So I want to have a complete new exhaust system.
It should give:

-more power
-loud but not this droning like the Topspeed N1 has
-less weight (amuse?)

here is my budget: 4000$$
SO LETS OVERSPEND MY Z!

WHY? Just spend 4k on something that will benifit your z better. Get amuse if you want to spend a fortune on something that few people will think is cool. I like the way it sounds, but that is way to much money to drop on exhaust on a stock car.

I don't think a lower budget would achieve all these things I listed. I'm wrong? Show me!

Here is a top quality exhaust system that does not drone but is loud at WOT. Since you want a loud exhaust you could get the intimidator and test pipes which woudl net you around 20RWHP. However if you are only in the market for a cat-back then this exhaust unmodified might be too quiet for you. What you can do is have tony custom fabricate an X-Pipe to replace the muffler and H-Pipe.

Well you probably won't even notice a power difference by just doing exhaust. That is why I said you should spend 4k on something that will benefit you more. My whole system with test pipes, true dual, and a different x pipe only cost around 1300.

So you have $4,000 to spend on an exhaust system alone?

If my budget was that big, I would have definitely gotten the Amuse with some quality HFC/test pipes.

Good call. Another thing he can ask FI to do is use their round mufflers as opposed to their oval ones. They sound more aggressive, but don't drone: http://myg37.com/forums/showthread.php?t=182199

i don't think so ... but you can ask, if they will send it from europe to usa ...

in europe it is actually the best exhaust system available ... it makes proofed gains ... so they realized with headers, HFC + catback about 305 ps and 378nm from an absolut serial 350z (280ps) ...

1400 euro's + whatever shipping would be, which would be quite alot given the size, i'm not looking to spend 4k on and exhaust

but if it was in the usa for 1400 usd, i'd really consider it, the design looks really good

Just get some high flow cats, agency power exhaust and a ypipe. then spend the extra money on ecu reprogramming. Then you still have 2k left to spend and a damn nice sounding exhaust

i think hes saying he wants to spend 4000 on exhaust... not 4000 on other stuff. who knows, he might have even more money for other things or maybe exhaust is what he likes?

I would do amuse.
