Default Transmission Fluid

I am due to change my transmission fluid soon...the thing is my second gear grinds once in a while and only if I slamm it in there...usually at the drag strip....i was wondering because my friend has a toyota xrunner 6 speed and his tranny grinded a little bit after he put a short shifter in but not after he put reldine mt90.....i kno that our cars and transmissions are not similar but i just wanted feedback and opinions on what people are using for their transmission fluid....i am constantly powershifting and slamming gears so you can imagine my tranny takes a beating...thanks in advance

Its probally grinding because you slam it into second diagnally instead of straight down from 1st to 2nd. I had that same problem until i figured out it was driver error, try it and tell me if it fixes the grinding situation. If that doesnt fix it, it probally has something to do with your synchro's

We use Torco SGO 75w90 gear oil in all of our cars including the AWD Subarus and the FWD Hondas. it would get rid of issues but it does make the transmission feel a bit nicer and in some cars noticeably quieter.
