Inlet temperature was 90 degrees. This was the best run of three.
Sorry for the shi*ty quality of the video, it was actually very impressive in person, lol.

Awsome numbers. These injen intakes imho are awsome and seem to be producing good gains on the dyno even though we don't have any independent dynos yet.

Yeah man. When it's at speed these intakes are amazing. Both me and my friend riding shotgun noticed the amount of pull compared to just the exhaust. Edit : I stand corrected - always something new to learn. Thanks again for recommending Stillen to order the CAI's from, awesome company!

how can first gear get you up to 50 if you didnt change the gear ratios?

more power will get you up to a given gears top speed faster, but it will not raise that top speed

not to be an ***, but do you even know how a transmission works?

maybe this is what happened:

you floored it first and second to the redline then let off and your momentom carried you to 50 and thats when you looked at the speedo.

thats very possible, but without changing your gear ratio's or raising your redline, top speed is gonna stay the same in every gear

OP, did you do a baseline dyno at all?

It seems Injen got it right this time with their intake.

Unfortunately, no. But I will advocate for Injen's quality. They are very well built, and the guys at the shop were impressed with the design. The gains are real, and it's something that is very noticeable at 6k+.
They sound insane, too. My video couldn't capture the audio very well, but if you look at A.H.'s thread that is exactly how it is in real life, except amplified.

I had the Injen SP1986 on my '03 Z and didn't realize how much better the stock intake was until I parted the car out. I'm glad that's not the case anymore with the HR engines.

Not bad... I wonder what you'd get out of a reflash

That's exactly what it was. The most I was able to do in first was 44mph, so it was definitely the momentum in between gears that brought it up to 50 on the speedo.

Things to come. Just wish I could get the tune with it.

When I did a baseline on my HR (same type of dyno) I got about 254hp, so this is a nice increase!!

It would only be a nice increase if this was on your car on the same dyno. Remember, different car, different dyno, completely different numbers. His baseline could've been 280 for all we know and have really been worth the money.
