rear mounted turbo setup VQ35HR
hey i am an owner of a 2007 hr roadster and am wondering why sts or another brands have not come out with a rear mounted turbo setup yet.. it seems like a much more logical solution to turbo a hr easier with the use of a twin turbo intercooler or a splitter after the intercooler.. just a thought.
remote mount turbos pretty much means STS since I believe they have a patent on the oil feed or something like that. I was about to go with twin remote mounts on my HR, but decided for a conventional set up instead.
For those in so cal ... API motoring can hook you up with STS.

id personally would rather run oil/coolant lines then try to pull those manifolds off and make a turbo kit fit in a place where it will be so crammed in... i know there is a turbo kit out for the hr... 8000 before fuel.. running a remote turbo system would save 1000s.. and there would be no need to twin turbo it anyway.. its a high revving 3.5 liter and a single gt35r turbo would be more then enough on stock internals to make a lot of power.

Another advantage to going with STS is they will most likely work with you from a pricing perspective to get their system installed onto an HR since it has not been done yet (as of late June).
