The cars that Ford, and Chevy build for Europe are far superior to the crap they sell here, and they are American companies. It seems that car standards are higher everywhere except here. All those years of crappy domestics affected the way the rest of the world looks to the U.S.

Ive seen this pic before a long time ago. And I still cant believe that a company has not made an intake setup and plenum like this for the HR motor. I bet these intakes dont loose power, they look like stock with carbon fiber inlets.

for $35k or so you can buy the setup shown - don't forget to add the motec ecu (or any standalone of your choice) on top of it though

True, but our dollar is far less than your euro, so it kind of evens out.
I don't think I've ever heard someone say "why can't we get the inferior US version of the Zed here"
How long did it take for us to get a GTR here?
You guys have had them forever.

sure? the price of the 380RS-C was a little bit more than a 911 CUP.. that it's over 180K $
motec included but not tuned.

I read the same blog...it was wrong

a 380RSC costs nearly $300k (varies by exchange rate) - edit - 28,350,000 yen, not including wheels/tires/fluid. Comes with a whole host of things including full support from NISMO

http://www.nismo.co.jp/380RS/380rsc.html

a new 911 Cup Car costs nearly the same - a used one a few seasons old goes for around $200k
