clutch chatter got louder!
Okay so im most likely gonna get flamed for this but whatever. It was raining last night and i decided to have some fun in the Z. The roads were wet so did a really small brakestand just to see how it feels in the Z. It literarly only lasted 3 seconds TOPS then i stopped. The pavement was wet so my tires didnt even screech. Then after that my clutch was chattering way louder then usual for a while. By the time i got home the chattering was back to its regular volume. Did i damage anything? the car still drives fine.

no no no..... i know the chatter is normal! but after i did that 3 second brakestand it got VERY VERY loud for about 10 minutes everytime i was at a stoplight. then i drove on the freeway and when i got off at the exit for my house the cars usual chatter was back.- the quiet one i dont mind......im just worried about the really loud chatter it made at every stoplight after i did the brakestand......i know the usual chatter is fine. but its not that loud.

Probably just got hot. Its actually a combination of the gears and synchros in the transmission rattling because the flywheel isn't completely dampening them. The extra heat generated by doing a burnout probably made the transmission fluid a little thinner and thus, you had a little more chatter.
Mine is loud as ***....try having a ltw flywheel.
