OP has a good point. The answer is simple. The double blowoff valve effect can be created by what is called a "reverb boost." What you want to do is place two, 2 1/2 inch size reverb holes in your muffler. The built up preassure gives you a turbo like surge all the way up to the redline. By doing some research online for you i found that you can get a "turbo whistler." Which adds even more boost to your NA motor. Here are some pictures
