Please. don't make yourself look like a tool. Just read and benefit. That's a lot of useful info since parts and tune are interchangeable.

not bad. this is on par with a stage III ttz32 in good running order.
then again the tech and car are 20 years younger.

Impressive. How does the car feel?

Tony (is seeing what we can expect from the 370Z with bolt-ons)

Wait let me get this straight. You got 344hp from headers, intake, full exhaust and a tune? My devotion to the z has been renewed. I have been lurking these firms with a mad intensity trying to find the right sports car to buy. It seemed people were only makin good power(330+) with f/i. Being that going to start my auto technician career school(gotta grad) and the price of turbo kits for this car i was a little intimidated. But you my friend have pulled me right back in. O and please go to the track and make the 1320 your *****.

shooot. this might be enough to run with the stock C5 Z06 or an E92 M3.
assuming for the z06 that you do a wee bit in weight reduction.

i hope we can expect alot of power on a cams upgrade.

not to mention when somone releases a supercharger kit.

Doubt it'll be an easy upgrade on the 3.7 if it's even possible.

it's possible, i dont really understand how the vvel works in relation to cam lift and duration, i've heard that cams are mainly tuned for emissions compliance. it's gonna be tricky with vvel. i think our cams and plenums are hiding some power. some long tube headers would be nice too.

but damn 80whp over stock for parts like that is pretty nice.

im sure cams, bigger throttle bodies and better flowing headers could make up 20whp.

From what I understand, you don't need to replace the intake cams on the 3.7L since it has variable cam lift/profile. It's more of a 'tuning' process to reprogram the cam profile(s).

^ you'd need to replace the exhaust cam (as its still a real physical cam) and reprogram the intake "cam" (since its not cam but lift and duration is contolled via ecu)

wow, 344hp to the wheel?
on VQ37 with just bolt on and tune? no cams/stock internal?

very impressive gain. Especially it put down 260ish rwhp on the same dyno

About 500pounds worth.

Those numbers look good although I'm surprised that it gained 80rwhp just off of bolt-ons. That's the most I've seen any N/A engine gain from bolt-ons. Has any other G37 been close to those numbers?
