Default engine rebuild, over 600hp. share ur experience/knowledge

hi
we will be rebuilding an engine with forged internals. ie: pistons.020over, rods n everything. getting it ready for more boost.

since the goal is 600+hp. things for sure need to be well done.

i have very little to no experience with these engines especifically. but the experience with remanufacturing engines is there.

this thread is to check or see if u can share some knowledge specificaly for this engine.... what are weak links in the engine, tips, or stuff needed to know when rebuilding (i dont want to see the rebuild like your normal stock hp engine)
for example: on the srt4, it has been known that it is not good enough to just torque down your rod bolts, u need to measure bolt stretch because of the strong crank throw.

anything similar or maybe something else on the vq? oh n its supposed to be a highrev.
thanks

i think you posted in the wrong subforum. This is for the VQ35HR motor. You might wanna post this thread in the F/I section

So wait... Your doing an HR block with a DE head and manifold?

The HR motor has DT's, and the Powerlab kit is designed for the DE motor with one TB. Are you doing a custom kit?

More info is needed.

If this is a DE motor, you should have just posted it here...
