id get that stock exhaust out of there and stay with a 2.5 inch....its just my opinion though, but i don't like the v6 truck sound i hear out of some...and maybe thats where ur hissing is coming from...

the 2.5 inch seems to keep the vq sound and i agree my nismo was a little quiet but now with the berks couldn't love it more and its not annoying or droning...sounds great when im on it and very loud..but can be kept down if needed...

Im sure you can find a good deal on a used one. Stay away from the x02, tempting but not worth it...

allright i fixed everything today. Put it on the lift found the leaks from both HFC. the gasket was bent. so i flattened it out, made the holes a little bigger and put exhaust sealant around the gasket. now i hear the rasp and a little hiss but that was expected and i dont mind it at the moment.
