Well this past Saturday my friend told me that there having $50 dynos with 2 to 3 pulls ,pictures, and video. So i was like hey!, not bad to get a ball park of what my car could be doing.

Well to my suprise i was the only import there and was surrounded by nothing but camaros, mustang and cobras, and a corvette.
Well after waiting in line for my turn, it finally came. Although my car would be doing this from a cold start.


So honestly i don't think they new how to hook up my car to the dyno and either my friends Srt-4. In the end we both got low numbers than we would know we would get from research and seeing other peoples dynos. I ended up getting 272hp on my 4th pull( all the pulls were done with 4th gear, the guy said 5th would of been something something). I was just sad because i would of hope high 270 to low 280s with my catback and test pipes. O, Wells for $50 i cant complain to much

how many miles on your car?

I would think your numbers should be slightly higher than that with test pipes and exhaust

15,3xx i dont remember exactly to the end numbers. Ya, like i said it should of been higher and someone didnt know what they were doing...... but hey for $50 not bad lol

 

Why would you do it in 4th?

 

Is it just my computer of does this video suck? It's not smooth at all...like watching a stop/go animation or something.

lol ya there were Tons of them lol but the energy drinks sadly to say were gone before i got there ;(. No, it your computer that is messing up because i viewed it on both computers i have ,but hey i can build you a nice $455.00 computer that is as small as a laptop and good for surfing web and listening to music and stuff. was this at henderson? it reads 5-7% lower than most other places.Ive been to Henderson many many times with my bmws and my buddies to know this.

 

It out behind rolling oaks mall. Its called Lethal Performance. I am not sure what the road is called sense i fallowed my friend to the place ,but my friend told me it use to be a domestic/turner shop and that it is now domestic...... Either way if we are both thinking about the same place then that is good because when i get a true dyno of hp/tq i have a nice present to see.

 

ok now i can see the video.Never been to lethal - henderson is only a few miles away though.Your results were very inconsistent- 500+ lb/ft of torque lol. they need more experience-see how loose you car was.

Ill let you know next time the local euro club goes to henderson to dyno- 2 pulls for $40 or $50- very exerienced operator and consistent results.I would like to hear your car in person though - im thnking test pipes next.but have to hear them first.

 

Ya, well if you are ever at the car meets on Thursday and Friday im usually there. Please do let me know because i want to get a good accurate dyno on my car. Well mine is going to be kinda bit quieter than all the other exhaust, i think. If your going for blown out race car sound you should hear my brothers car.

 

That's because it starts in HD. Uncheck that and it will run smooth. My laptop can't handle HD video either.

Btw, this is a reason not to get test pipes. Sounds very raspy for most of the rpm, and pollutes like crazy.

 

1. its threw a video camera 2. Everyone who hears my exhaust LOVES IT. because its SOUNDS SO CLEAN and CRISP!! If you want to hear raspy exhaust over a certain rpm then that be my brothers. So if you don`t have anything good to say please don't say it at all.

O, by the way 07_350z_JP do you happen to live on burverdy road?? because today i saw a black Z with the x02 looking exhaust with some rims on it(i pretty sure it was HR)??

 

yup- funny you saw me today cuz I only drove my car for a total of 5 minutes today. Usually drive my dirty e30 on rainy days.
