Default Anyone install an Injen dual cold air intake on there car?

I am in the process of installing the Injen Dual Cold air intake system on my car and did not realize that it was going to be such a hassle.

I'm having trouble with the custom brackets they gave to mount the filters behind the bumper. Anyone know a Detailed DIY thread? or can anyone offer some help? Pics WOULD be amazing. Thanks...

Don't mean to be a dick, but really its not that hard to install an intake, no matter what kind it is.

yes they would be, post pics of what parts your talking about. I installed mine without a hitch, you may need to remove and adjust some pieces a couple of times so everything comes together properly.

Yeah.. I'm not taking my bumper off again to take some pixs.. Did that last week to clean the filters. Did you not get the paper instructions? It's pritty straight forward.. From what I recall there's only two screws holding up each braket from the front and this braket replaces the stock one. The extended ends point away from the center of the car.

By any chance did you forget to relocate your horns?

Did you buy them used/without instructions? The instructions sheet that came with it is pretty thorough.

But now that it's al done.. No CEL's and the car deff feels SOOOOO much better

Very detailed step by step but BLACK AND WHITE SUCKS! I couldn't tell which way the brackets were facing and where they wanted me to re locate my horns lol

I mounted the horns using the bracket that came with the intakes, on the horn mounting point towards the passenger side. Just letting you know in case you rigged something up lol.

The instructions provided are good, save for the "14 10mm screws for the bumper". It was like an easter egg hunt. Finally managed to find the two behind the wheel splash cover. Broke 4 out of 6 clips that hold the top part of the bumper, no idea how they come out without force. Off to the dealer tomorrow...

Fit and finish of this product is outstanding.

Took me about 4 hours, taking my time and having a couple of beers here and there.

Well I just finished my install of the intakes and man what a pain it was. The passenger side tubing seemed to be to large to fit into the hole, I guess I will just have to do some readjusting. I have a question though I relocated my horns hooked all the wires up correctly, or so I think. But my horns are not working. Anyone run into any trouble with that? I tired different combination's of reconnecting the wires to see if i screwed up but still no luck.
