I had the same problem.. no FUSE problems I think.. you just need to make sure that you reconnected it! lol... you just need to readjust the silver tube mount they give you to attach t the filter and make sure the black injen tube is in the proper position for it to not hit the front bumper and make it buldge out if you know what I am talking about.

Could I have blow a fuse even though I had the negative terminal disconnected? This was my first time ever to take a wrench to car besides removing a tire! lol.

That piping is just a royal pain in the the azz. I will try and take it apart again this weekend cause I was unable to get two of my bumper plugs back in on the passenger side due to the intake.

Why can't you remove them? They are tough but it just takes some moving them around... make sure the actual plug is half way out from the base of the clip... It works on bead if you know what i mean..

Now i'm not trying to be disrespectful, but it's not the same when it comes to installing dual intakes on a Z. I too have the Injen CAI. There is so much extra you have to do like relocate the horn. Not to mention fitment isn't exactly the best and removing our front bumper is a pain. So out of curiosity do you have the Injen intake on your Z?

Had these on my car for a while now, install wasn't the most pleasant thing, but it worked. Glad everything is okay for you now op!

word to the wise,

Do not screw the brackets holding the filters to the end of the silicone hose too tihtly, I found that when doing cleaning, unscrewing these is the biggest ****-ing pita EVER. if you clamp that tight enough to stay on under stressful driving conditions, but loose enough to pull off without tools, you will save yourself a lot of time, and be a heck of a lot stressed out from the cleaning process (thus saving you cigarettes). Also, get a K&N drop-in filter cleaner kit from ebay ($15, works beautifully).

I've finally learned how to take care of these bad boys, so if you got any questions, feel free to PM or post on this thread.

Peace,
~Ryan

Quite a few G37 owners have this done, including myself. The install was relatively simple, took me and a buddy two and a half hours total, each working on one side of the car. The only thing i don't like is when it comes time to clean the filters, the bumper has to come off again.

Default Any noticable HP increase?

Hey guys, I have been thinking about getting either these Injens or the Stillen long tube gen 3 intakes. Or, on the other hand, maybe just some drop in K&N filters. Having a hard time discerning if there are any real gains in HP from anything. Do any of you guys have an opinion, or better yet, a dyno before and after the injens?

How often on average do you have to clean the filters? I get my Injen Intakes tomorrow kind of scared to install this myself.

I installed my dual injen cai on my 08 nismo and its not too hard if you have the patience and right tools. However you have to take the whole front bumper off and on mine I had to relocate the horns, so I would suggest have an avg of 4 hours or more on your hand to do it correct and take your time. Though reading this topic makes me wish I took pics of doing it since it didn't seem too hard for me

p.s. Mine came with instructions so I would assume all legit injen cai should come with them even though like some instructions, they were not the best explained to me.
