Sam
Thanks for the info. I guess it's not CARB approved then.

From my understanding this will be carb approved from emails back and forth between stillen. Per older threads/post that's the plan for this kit.

Hey, Sam/GTM's boss - I'll ask u again. Carb your kit.

To clarify, I thought that "CARB" legality was a unit/SC specific designation. But as I mentioned, it makes sense that it would be engine specific. Eitherway, I don't live in a State that requires it.

So my statement stands. There's absolutely no reason to buy this unit.

Sam,

I highly encourage you to research prior to posting. Once again, you are posting inaccurate information about our kit. We have achieved CARB legality on the dual throttle body 350Z. In fact, I just got off the phone with our Air Resources Board representative to confirm this.

I understand that you are new to CARB testing however we have been working with the state of California for nearly 15 years.

I just got it installed last week. I have dyno time scheduled for this Friday. I will post the results afterwards. In the meantime, it's the same price structure as what they have listed for the 370z.

Read some of my previous comments about the strut brace, etc. Also, I'm starting to discover that the notches under the hood have to be spot on. Otherwise the engine torque will cause tubing and piping to scrape against the notch points. I had the underside of the hood painted and it actually hides the notches and looks pretty good.

Not bad! A/F is a little choppy though. Is this their canned tune or custom?

I believe once you alter the canned tune, you void your CARB legality.
At least thats what's been mentioned about this kit on t h e 3 7 0 z (dot) c o m

This is true, if ya buy a turn key kit it will come CARB approved and good to go. however you could always just buy another UPREV standard, flash the stillen tune back on the cable so you always have it and know one would really know the difference.

We just finished tuning a stillen HR equipped car and made 425WHP with a 9 lb pulley. MAF voltage was maxed and IDC was at 90% so thats about the max we will be getting out of the components that come with the stillen kit. ill see if I can get dyno sheets posted this weekend.
