SoCal, no disrespect taken. I also think that they are aware of what their competition is up to. It's a shame that put out such a shoddy product. The thing was, that we called and asked all these questions and were given the answers we needed. It wasn't until after the installation had begun that we discovered that the strut brace wasn't going to fit. But we did ask the questions b/f hand. Additionally, they have the list of all my previous mods because I've purchased everything from them exclusively.

Having said this, I still welcome input/help from others on this forum regarding power and the strut brace. In turn I will post dyno results and additional pictures, etc as soon as I can.

Stillen is always great at making you do unnecessary mods to the car to get their **** to fit. Just like their Gen III intakes, could have made brackets like the injens instead of drilling into the radiator core holder.

I think that one key difference between the Stillen and the GTM is the intercooler. GTM is air to air and Stillen is air to water.

Well I got the phone call. It appears that I can p/u the car tomorrow. I'm curious to see how it performs.

Well, I picked up the car yesterday. Very impressive acceleration and sound. I'm going to try to get in on the dyno on Friday.

Not only is that thing ugly as ****. It makes less power and fits horribly compared to gtms unit. I can't believe anyone decided to go with them with the trash unit they put out for the DE.

Oh and to help you with the strut brace. If you have to cut the hood to make it fit with no brace. What makes you think anying will fit at all?

Only CARB supercharger for HR. I don't know about other states, CHP likes to pull you over if you look modified. But I must say no strutbar is very much discouraging even if it is CARBed.

Anyway, would like a detailed review.

Stillen advertised it as CARB approved. In terms of power, I hope to get it on the dyno this week for a baseline. I anticipate having to tweek it from. GTM has a good unit, but I wanted the air to water intercooler. Additionally, my particular Nissan dealership felt comfortable with the Stillen unit because we've installed several other Stillen mods.

Can you link me to where they have advertised it as a carb approved system.

Thank you

Here's the link. The link shows a 370Z, but the installation instructions are labled for a 350Z. Let me know if you want me to send you the PDF.

Thank you for the info, Not trying give you a hard time, I'm just interested my self to know if this kit is carb approved or not . FYI the carb certification for the 370z Kit will not apply for the 350Z HR sense there are two complete different Engine families. Unless stillen applied specifically for the VQ35HR.

What does you carb label says on it. I'm assuming you got one ?

No problem. Now that you mention it, I did not see a specific "CARB" lable. Is there a particular place on the SC that I should be looking?

Also, I was unaware that a seperate application for the 350Z would have to be submitted. That makes sense though.

Defiantly different engine will require separate applications process, If your kit is carb approved then you should have gotten a label that will have an EO # that reflect the approval for you specific car.
