Default Installed Injen Twin Intakes on my NISMO (PICS)

What a pain on the NISMO this was. Lots of rivets needed to be drilled out of extra panels that were in the way we had to get rid of. One held the horns, the other did nothing that I saw. One of my horns isn't working, the high side, the low is. Not sure why but I will have to look and see if maybe the connection came loose. But otherwise they look great. It's raining here so no chance of me getting on it. While I was at it, installed the Silicon hose kits.

The only complaint is the fitment on the driver side. Injen didn't measure that well and one hose and label was a bit shorter than the other one so the INJEN on the black hoses do not line up as good on the front with each other.

sweet, you should have got the black set though.

I never did understand what all those extra brackets were for either

I think the black would have looked much better. Are you going to retune?

Already too much black in the engine bay.

After I get my MD TDX Exhaust when he releases it, it will get retuned.

Had no time today to drive it, so maybe tomorrow. And still raining. Ugg.

Might as well keep the stock ones if I wanted to stay black.

I personally think it looks awsome. Plus it's your car so you should get the colors you like, not what others like

I agree. I wanted RED to go with the theme of nismo.

BTW, my horns were working, just I didn't remember how weak they were since I had Airhorns installed which I had to remove for now.

Hey, i been wanting to do this and I'm glad there someone in my area doing this because i can come and check it out, if you don't mind. I want to do this but have a fear of sucking up water because of the location of were the air filters are at and to add that our streets tend to get big puddles of water caught in them. Either way looks good tell me how things go when you get it out on the street!

It should not be a problem as long as you don't submerge the filter. I had a CAI on my Maxima a long time ago and the filter was behind the fog light. Drove to Dallas in a rainstorm and the filter got wet, but the car never had a issue.

As long as you stay out of the right lane, and don't follow too close in the rain, and also stay away from low water crossings you should be fine. I will be going to the TX Nissan Meet, or you can see the car at ZSPORT's club meeting Tuesday night on the 9th.
