Have you ever had grinding on startup (starter gear not engaging).
Half the reason I want to switch is that I think the JWT has an aluminum gear (I need to look) but regardless mine is all messed up...FML.

Well, my flywheel gear teeth are rounded off on that edge, and the starter gear teeth were worn from it.
**** it, stock flywheel is $100 at a junkyard, I'm going to buy a stock clutch kit, a new slave (to be safe) that flywheel, and call it a day. This way I don't have to worry about CSC failure, I don't get grinding, or chatter, or have to worry about if I wanted to sell my car, and its easier to launch at the drag strip with the OEM.
I can't lose on this one.

the clutch (stage 1) could work with the stock flywheel... to me sounds like the exedy flywheel could work with the stock clutch.

Do you have any additional photos of where the cage is welded near the seats? I can not see the plate that the tubes are welded to in the photo with the door sill in it.
Also, are you able to replace any of the plastic trim behind the seats in order to be able to use the cubby storage again?
Sorry for all the questions.
