Just installed FI hfc's, Stillen short-throw, and have 304 tainless steel Stillen headers on the way to be followed by an Osiris dyno. My butt says the hr responds quite well to bolt-ons=)

Just a bit of a warning to the dude in Murrietta that started this thread... keep the racing on the DL dude. Riverside just spent .5 million on their police to crack down on racers and modded cars. I try to stay away from that side of the mountains even though the 15 has a pretty open speedlimit.

 

I dont get why people talk down to others about street racing because they are the same people who if that dick in the Vett pulled up next to you I bet you would run if the road were empty. I dont care either way... im sure less people die from Street racing than DUI's and im sure if I wanted to be clever I could find more.... besides that... I never noticed any point in the video where he was racing someone.....

Maybe some on this forum are just mad because they were driving a gremlin when they were 20 and not a 350z. They just have to hate on anyone who has something nice. **** I wish I could have had a Z 10 years ago.... I wouldnt have cared if daddy bought it for me or not......

This forum is getting worse over time... I dont know if the members are getting older and crabby with leaking depends or what..... Its a car forum guys... everyone here HOPEFULLY loves the Z so lets not cry and judge about the way the other members want to drive them.

All I'm sayin is the cops in riverside county are d***s. My 53 yearold mother got her brand new carrera impounded cuz she accidentally revved thinking she was in reverse in a parking lot. Not terribly smart on her part, but they wanted to -crush- her car. (she was flanked by my Z and my cousins Sti.) they thought we were gonna race.

I don't support street racing but I also don't support the city crushing peoples cars just because they -can- go fast...

 

because is just a stupid way to put yourself and somebody else in danger.
$HIT HAPPENS. and that is a stupid way to die or get injured.

if you think you have the nuts and the skills you can go to a track and drag race as much as you want, if you think you're quick around the corners go to an HPDE event, where you just need a cheap helmet and put some quick lap times...

there you can show your nuts, post times, record videos (a cheap car camcorder is less than 300$) and show it for real.

that is the reality... a stop light race is exactly like bench racing. is just for wimp.
go in a REAL racing environment if you think you're good enough.

you can bet your *** that OP and the fellowship of street racing will backup because "the car isn't ready" "it's a lot of money" "I don't have a helmet" and so on... BS, BS and BS from cowards.
